Never played the game... so that's Sandra? I wondered why best girl Serafina ripped that emerald off her chest...

She's been there for the past two episodes pretending to be other people ripping out gems and killing jumis. And honestly, I'm also caught off-guard by this scene too. She definitely fooled me if she is indeed pretending to be Serafina. I think she might be using mind control this time though. I'm not sure. We'll just have to wait for the next episode and see.

Well, we can all guess that wasn't Seraphina that Yeeted with Esmeralda and her sister's Cores.

Guess I talked the heifer/Sandra up in the previous ep, but they all knew how dangerous she was, especially Shiloh.

But here's the thing about this episode. We all saw how Esmeralda's sisters were brutally killed for their Cores, and all three were just abandoned in different parts of the world!?!! Were their Cores dumped because of what Kristie said at 17:53!?!!

If that is the case, pretty horrible end for the sisters and their Cores discarded like their bodies.

Differences between the Anime and the game.

If you haven't figured it out yet, the theme of the game is Love. Love in all forms in particular.
One-sided love, Unrequited Love, Sibling love, Familial love, Forbidden love, Love so strong, it can change a person. If you look into many stories and quests told in the game, you are told various forms of love.

Going into the Penguin story, it was just a story you stumble upon at Madora Beach, to teach you about the form of love.

The Diggers you meet in-game are actually located in a mine, not a neighboring island. This is part of the quest to find Putty. Not related to actually finding the rest of Esmeralda's sisters. (You actually find them all in Geo city, but I suspect that was due to coding and localizing storytelling)

The second location where they found her other sister is a big deal but not part of the Teardrop Crystal arc, just part of the world building. What you saw was the Junkyard (spoilers ahead) a garbage dump of what seemingly looks like children toys but are actually weapons inhabited by the spirits of the dead who fought in the war. Grudge and despair fill the Junkyard as the "toys" are filled with the spirits of the dead warriors who despise humanity for abandoning them.

The ending is pretty much how the story plays out. But instead of Sandra yoinking the Emerald, she kidnaps Esmeralda and the Player Character chases them to an arena underneath Kristie's Palace (meeting Diana is actually part of another questline if you visit Geo and go straight to the Storage Room), where the PC fights a boss, only for Sandra to yoink the jewel infront of you.

They found Esmeralda sisters rather quick, I expected it to take a couple of episodes. Curious to see what the deal is with Serafina and Sandra.
